2008 was an amazing year. I loved being pregnant and becoming a mom has been wonderful. I simply can't imagine anything better. I am happy to be a wife, that title along with all the other titles that apply like daughter, sister, aunt, friend and so on. These titles describe wonderful and comfortable experiences of my life so far. But being a mom is a new awe inspiring experience.
Joey has been here just over 3 months but I am struck by how small he is or should I say how small he was and how much potential I imagine he has. There is no telling right now what he will become as he grows but I will love watching every moment of it take place.
I know there will never be another year quite like 2008 it held a lot of firsts. I know that every year after this will be unique and filled with new firsts. I look forward to experiencing new things and growing comfortable with the new title of mom.
