Wrap it up and put a bow on it.

July is over, gone with it is vacation and my 6th month of pregnancy, now I'm working my way day by day to the end of the 7th month.

July was a good month. Jamie began vacation on the third, we enjoyed some time around Lakeland, we picked up the term "staycation." Staycation is nice we went to the pool once, we saw a movie or two, we tried to do a few things around the house. We interrupted our staycation to go to Atlanta for a week. We saw family and lots and lots of friends. My mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law had been shopping and gave us a few clothes for our baby. Those things are in his room now waiting for him. I shopped a little too and got a few more clothes for my boy. Baby clothes are sooooo soft. The timing was so good we got to attend a shower for our friends who are adopting a baby boy later that month, I enjoyed shopping for their shower gift, I'm into all things baby right now if you couldn't tell.

After the time we spent in Atlanta we came home and Jamie had an injection in his neck for a bulging disc, the first of two shots he'd get. We're still waiting to see if this helps fix the problem. I have my fingers crossed cause I want him to feel all good. Once this was done we were back on staycation for a couple days. Relaxing at home, a little shopping trip to Brandon and the Babies R Us there to pick out baby furniture. Then a day trip to Jacksonville FL and Palm Coast FL all in one day to see a few friends. It was a great day but for me it was kind of a babymoon. After all the visiting was done we spent the night in Ormond Beach, a night away from home, Daisy in the kennel, a nice hotel room and someone else had to clean it. The next morning breakfast out and then a drive through Daytona Beach, I got to see someplace new in Florida. We took our time going home and stopped at a couple places to do some shopping, a special present for Jamie's birthday. Once home again a day or two off remained and we enjoyed every minute of it.

Vacation over, Jamie returned to work, I went back to taking care of the house while he's gone to work and thinking about what we need to do to be ready for our baby. A week into work and Jamie returned for the second of the two shots he needed, again we wait hoping and crossing our fingers that this will be the solution. Then just like that July was over. It was a good month.
