Again this is late, I should have posted this in June.
It was such a wonderful day. Jamie and I were so very happy and excited to see our baby and we were anxious to find out if we were having a baby boy or baby girl. We would have been happy either way but it just so happens we're having a baby boy and we were pleased.
I had no idea how long the ultrasound would last but they take all kinds of measurements and so we got to see our baby moving around for a good 20 minutes maybe longer. When the technician had the view zoomed in on our boys feet I laughed, they look so cute and so perfect, of course because I laughed he moved so she tried to find them again.
After our appointment was over we spent the rest of the day making phone calls spreading the news that we were having a baby boy, and sharing the news that we plan to name him Joseph Warren and call him "Joey" for short. We chose his name using my dads first name and Jamie's dads middle name Warren (which he goes by regularly). I think the two names sound great together and I think they are two great men to name our child after.
